There are many ways that you can help the Foundation. First is to become a member. Our membership is our main source of revenue for the Foundation. However there are other ways to help as a volunteer. Here are some examples:
McKaig Nature Education Center
Spreading wood chips on the trails--a semiannual event
Assisting with erosion control projects
Serving as a guide to young and old
Developing seasonal programs
Eradicating invasive plants
Assisting with new plantings
Old Roberts Schoolhouse
Cleaning the Schoolhouse periodically
Painting interior and exterior of building
Replacing and glazing windows
Serving as a guide during open houses
Performing minor repairs
Foundation Administrative Tasks
Assisting in creating the Foundation's history
Helping with the annual membership drive
Aiding in obtaining foundation and government grants
Performing clerical functions
Planning for special events and the annual dinner meeting
